Ok. Thanks yeah I had to reset yesterday while doing something sending email I think and I couldn't get it to respond. So I reset it. That is probably what happened.

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] message memory scan when doing a 5 second reset

Hi,
From what I found, there is no correlation, although the
likelyhood of
getting that "memory scan" message increases when you perform this reset while you were doing something e.g. playing a media file, browsing the web, etc. This "scandisk" thing is just a checker to just find out if the operating system did shutdown right or not before restarting an Apex (I know, sounds a bit complicated); think of it as a computer doing chkdsk when
the computer turns on if you had to restart your computer.
Cheers,
Joseph

I never had this happen before yesterday though. I installed the
USB drivers yesterday. I have done that reset before yesterday
and never got that message. Is there a corelation between the 2?

Hi,
That's normal for it to happen. KeySoft is just checking to make
sure
there's no corrupted files or memory.
Cheers,
Joseph

reset

My subject line says it all basically. I just started getting
this message yesterday. After I installed the USB drivers to use
my apex as a braille display. What does this mean and should I
be concerned? I still haven't been able to connect my display
via bluetooth or USB. I changed the comport to 1 installed the
correct drivers. BTW I had to do a reset before my computer
would see my bn for some reason. But, after that I got te
prompts I expected.
