I have never done it, but I have read blogs that say it is possible. The only thing I can think of is: 1. Remove all external storage devices (sd cards, thumb drives, and so on) from the Apex. 2. Just in case, you may want to back up your flash disk. I do not expect this to be necessary, but you never know, and it is a good thing to do regularly anyway. 3. Go to the main menu, and make sure the Apex is plugged into the wall. 4. Press the reset button, but instead of releasing it like normal, hold it in for at least five seconds, or until the braille display looks like it does when the Apex is turned off. At this point, release the reset button.
After the Apex wakes up again, turn off bluetooth on the iPhone, then turn it on again and follow the instructions from hw again. Again, I have never done this and (sadly) do not own an iTouch to try it on, but the above reset is a hard reset and may help to clear out any irronious data on the Apex.
