I didn't see the original question about this, but my BrailleNote has been through lots and lots of airports. It has also been through scanners for going on cruise ships, and I have never had any problem. I just put it in one of those bins with the cover flipped back. I also leave my extra SD cards in their cases inside the pocket of the BN case.
Happy travels,

Hi, this is response to someone asking about plane travel. I flew on southbest southwest airlines departing from ABQ to LAX the other day. My folks did not tell me to remove my braillenote from my bag. So I sent it through security. The result, a twenty minutes' wait for the inspector to be cleared. They said it would be fine in one of those box things, just slide it through, and move to your gate. And, if any of you were wondering, I made my plane smoothly because it was a 4:20 PM departure, but the plane didn't depart until 5:04. Anyway, everything would've been okay because I went to the chair outside the gate at 5 past 4.
