I have flown to many destinations in Europe, and each time I have my Voicenote in my hand luggage, and when I am putting it through security, I just tell them that there is computer and electrical equipment in that bag. I usually put my radio and any recording equipment in the same bag. In the last few years I have had no problem.

Some years ago, I was travelling from Aberdeen to Manchester, and they took an interest in my Braille and Speak. However, once I had explained what it was, it went through without difficulty.

Another time I was travelling in France, and Security took an interest in my bag, which in those days had everything in the one bag. We could not work out what the problem was, until they discovered a short-wave radio in one of the pockets. This radio had a metal case.
