I wonder if there is a setting that he missed? Look through all the
pop/imap/mail forwarding settings very carefully, on a pc or on the bn
with the view set to Basic HTML instead of Mobile. I cannot be more
specific since I only did this once, about a year ago. That is all I
can think of since the port is right, the smtp server name is right (I
assume), and the account works for receiving mail, just not sending
it.
