On the Apex though it appears to have a choice of mic option, it doesn't. Well, my Apex doesn't. It only lets me record using the internal mic, no external mic or FM radio choices exist. Just another strange anomaly between the two units. I am curious about other people's findings on this but basically feel that audio recording on either unit ranks very low on things I would work on in future upgrades, unless they want to put in the ability to create mp3 files on the Apex.
