Jose: just go into media center setup options, go down to the input
source (either default or record button) and select fm radio. The
radio does not need to be on, but headphones are all but required
since they act as the antenna and your recording will just have static
otherwise.

For everyone: what is going on with the apex is known by hw and is
being worked on, as far as recording the radio. The lack of input mic
selection is because the Apex will automatically use the internal mic.
If, however, an external mic is plugged in, it will automatically use
that instead, so there is no need for you to pick which one you want
each time. With no mic attached, just hit record and off you go with
the internal mic, but hook up anything to the mic jack and recording
will use that instead.
