Their math system is quite lousy. You must learn a whole new system for mathematics. Besides, the symbols take too much room.

I think the Nemeth Uniform Braille System makes much more sense to me than UEB. I hope BANA adopts it. Then the notetakers will support it.

I still think the best method for producing text sighted people need to read is simply use a qwerty keyboard. You can still read the text in your preferred grade, but you don't have to worry about errors that occur from translating braille to print. BT users can just plug an external keyboard into their BN. You don't have to buy a new BN.
