Hello all, Pairing the apex and IPhone is pretty straightforward. First, make sure that bluetooth is enabled on the IPhone and on the Apex. Then on the Iphone, go to the Braille options under the VoiceOver settings and follow the prompts. The pairing must be done using the IPhone. The code is 0000. You must type these numbers quickly or the pairing will fail. Once the two devices are connected, you will hear a chiming sound from the iphone and you will see the IPhone messages on the Braille display.

Start from the instructions here: http://www.humanware.com/en-usa/support/braillenote_apex/braillenote_apex_as_a_braille_display Make sure the BrailleNote is using the default computer name (delete "Flash Disk/Dictionaries/DevName.sys" if it isn't, then reset). The code for the BrailleNote is always 0000 regardless of how you may otherwise pair. Put BrailleNote into terminal mode with Bluetooth as the port, then on the iPhone, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Braille and turn it to on. If Bluetooth isn't on, it asks you to turn it on. Then it scans, and should find your Apex, for which you pair 0000. Yes, it's fiddly and annoying, really.
