Hmmm, try a reset (press the reset button) and see what happens
then.

I did what you suggested and it said the following.
printer error the specified network resource or device is no
longer available. Print or setup printer? I selected set up
printer, and got paper length 66, width 85, use formfeeds between
pages is set to yes, pause after each page is currently set to
no, page offset I skipped over and it says printer port currently
usb, printer type currently hp desk jet and lazar jet, extended
character set currently ms dos
