What about on the Mpower? Is there a reset that will erase stuff
on that particular unit?

No reset I know of will erase flash disk content (though a backup
is
never a bad idea, no matter what you are doing). I think one
reset
will erase licenses, though. I know the 1 2 3 reset will, so
don't do
that one, but I can't remember if either of the other two will
and I
have no licenses so cannot test it.

Alex, no, the 4-5-6 is a clear settings reset, holding down the
reset button for about five or six seconds is a hardware reset.
I think that will erase all your stuff, back up everything
before
you do that.

PS: The clear settings reset won't erase your stuff, I had to do
that on my friends BN once and when I looked all his stuff was
still there.

When this happens, I have not found a workaround except to delete
the
book and download it again. If that does not work, try a 4 5 6
reset,
after deleting the book. Finally, download it on another machine
and
transfer it over to the bn. If this is an Apex, I believe the 4
5 6
reset is instead the reset done by holding in the reset button
for
five seconds, but Joseph would know for sure.

Hi, everyone, I'm having a very frustrating time trying to
download a book from Bookshare. It's called "The heretic's
daughter" that's the title, and it keeps saying it's a Pk book.
It downloads fine, and then I can't unpack it. The title
changes
to Pk I have betrying to unpack it as a brf file. It's
disappointing because it's a book I'of always wanted to read!
Any help would be apprefated!
