Oh that happens to me a lot since I'm such a fast braille writer.

In fact I hafta keep a close finger out for it. Braille lite
does it but not nearly of often as the braille note mpower does!
And I'll tell you folks. Have lost my complete novel to the
innards of this beast so if I write something I don't want to
loose I still use my old braille lite forty. Because I quite
simply don't trust this thing to retain it's files!
Something Else I've had happen. My unit is a bit old. The
battery is getting to the point that it needs replacing. Well
that is not happening but if perchance the battery runs down
while your composing an email, that's it Chirrin. Doesn't seem
very efficient to me.

The Sense products have a "type mode" on their bt models. When
you are in
"type mode," the spacebar will create a space. (I assume this
is also true
for the enter and backspace keys: the backspace will back up a
space and the
enter key will make a hard return.) If you want to issue a
command, you
must get out of "type mode."
Would it be helpful to you if the BN'S had this feature?
