Well, I tend to stick with certain commands only, because they're the
quickest, although I do know and remember the others.
If you like key strokes then W with dots 7-8 added will take you into the
wordprocessor and S with dots 7-8 takes you into the scientific calculator.
Now, that works if you're in Main Menu, but it also works from anywhere in
Keysoft, and you can go between apps that way if you wish. Be warned,
though, that some people have been known to lose some texts from files when
swapping out between items in this way; so take care, don't do it too
quickly and save anything that's important not to lose before you move from
the word-processor, for example.
Finally, these key strokes apply also to book reader, email and the
internet. Just add the dots 7-8.

All you have to do is, from the main menu, press the
letter W for word processor, and also from the main menu,

Hello Listers,
I am now the proud owner of a BT Apex, I've gone through
the quick tutorial CD, and I'm getting around the unit
using the good old fashioned hunt and peck method.
I'd like to start off by saying that I love the feel of
the Apex, it's definitely slim lined and portable.
Is there a quick way to get to the word processor and
scientific calculator from the main menu?
This unit is barely out of the box, and I am so clueless!
(Grin) I'd appreciate any help, tips and tricks.
