Sending the Apex to HumanWare and replacing the qwerty keyboard with a
braille keyboard costs $200 and something. A new braille display would cost
more, especially if you want one which has a notetaker in it. Cost is
around $5,000 to $6,000 for those babies. However, the company might take
your Apex as a trade-in so some of the cost would be deducted. I have not
yet found a product that satisfies all my wants, (grin).
