Hi, Before you go to iPad route, I would like to ask two important questions: do you need braille for any of your tasks, and are you willing to lrarn new user interface concepts and new ways of input, namely touchscreen? Because iPad isn't the only choice out there - there are iPod Touch, good Android devices and so on. If you really want to try these optuins, I advise two actions: join mailing lists for products tou are interested, and to read the rebiews of these devices from both sighted and blind alike.
