I'm not sure how many of us are keeping up with PBWorks now ...
For those of us who've joined us lately, the BrailleNote PBWorks
is (and, shortly after September would be, "was") a useful
resource on BrailleNote products. It hosts content such as
useful tutorials and chat archives.
However, due to technical difficulties and with my schedules
being devoted to preview of schoolwork and for working on a new
site, I'd like to advise that BrailleNote PBWorks 8.0 would be
the last "major" version under PBWorks banner. After release of
8.0 (scheduled for September), the PBWorks site will be around
for six months before going away - with the new and upgraded
content moving over to our new site (which I'm happy to say that
it is being developed well). Thus, I'd like to take this moment
to thank all those who've contributed to the PBWorks version of
the BrailleNote site (both technical and content wise).
As for the new site, I'll provide a report on it on the next
post. As for actual (and detailed) reasoning behind abandoning
PBWorks after three years of activity, I'll report on it on due
time. Thanks.
