I'm sorry I forgot to change the subject line so I'm sending the message with
the right subject. Better chances of getting my questions answered. Hello.
I'm wanting to know if anyone uses a pcmcia ethernet card to connect to the
internet. I know that pulsedata doesn't recommend one. I know they recommend
the socket low powered ruggidized compactflash card. I'm looking to find
something cheaper than that to connect to the internet other than dialup. I
found the card at the socketcomcom site for $115. I also tried a D link pcmcia
ethernet card and it didn't even recognize that the card was inserted.
I know that the cel phone is another option. I don't know if sprint will
charge me for minutes when using the phone for access to the net. I don't know
yet how much that cord would be either.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
