Hi Peter, Off hand, I would say that the GPS is a good thing. As to whether or not it would be good for you, is a question that only you can answer. it may be helpful if you often find yourself traveling in unfamiliar environment, or if you have the kind of job that requires that you travel to unfamiliar cities. Personally, that isn't my situation, so for me, it would just be an expensive toy, but there are times, like when I am in a paratransit vehicle or taxi and the driver gets lost and asks me for directions, that knowing exactly where I am, and what direction I am traveling in could be helpful. Like a lot of other things, this is something that you will have to figure out for yourself. if you use your BN on an everyday basis for other things, it wouldn't be much trouble to take along the GPS receiver, but if you don't generally take the BN with you when you travel, you might find it inconvenient to carry along the extra gear.
