Bob, I really don't have an answer for you on that one.  I wonder if your 
friend is able to locate his address with the gps so he can set his virtual 
position to it. 
If not, maybe he could try setting his virtual position to his actual gps 
position when he's at his house and  then see if he can find it in the .poi 
file.

Maybe someone else will have a better idea, but this could be a start.
