Hi, guys. I got my BN back from being serviced by Humanware today, and it works wonderfully well, talking and everything. The only thing that's very frustrating to me is that my Sportrak GPS receiver, which worked with my BN before I sent the BN in, is now not detected by the BN. I'm wondering if there's any reason PDH might have disabled my serial port when working on my unit, and if (heaven forbid!) that's the case, is there a way it can be re-enabled without having to send it in again? I'm probably jumping to conclusions, and am working with Sendero Group to try to get the problem resolved. I never use the serial port except for GPS, so have no way to test and see if it's a problem with the port or a problem with the cable or receiver. I just know I'm really frustrated at the moment that something that worked before now doesn't work. All PDH did to my unit was to replace the speaker, burn Keysoft 5.0 into rom, and cycle the battery. That shouldn't affect the serial port, should it? Not knowing how the techs work, I don't know if they flip switches and enable and disable things in order to test them, or if they only work on what I specify. Any thoughts?

Peggy
