On my laptop, which is a Toshiba M10, I get around 13 hours between
charges. The machine has room for two batteries, which is what I put in it,
and when one fails, the other takes over. Each battery gives around the same
amount of time on its own, around 6-7 hours.

Just for curiosity sake, does anyone know what the average battery life is
for a typical laptop? Just curious.
I use my BN at least 5 or 6 hours a day using primarily the Braille display
with a flash card on board, and I charge my unit every other day or so. To
me this doesn't seem out of line.
