There may be a possibility that the battery is in fact bad but then it may need to be exercised a bit. Use it a few times steadily then determine what is happening with it! There are things that draw on the battery even though the BN is turned off. Also remove flash cards from the unit. These draw power from the BN as well for what it is worth!
