>Subject: [Braillenote] No response from QT BrailleNote

>Hi: - If anyone has any suggestions on what to do here to resolve my
>problem, please don't hesitate in letting me know. While on a weekend
>trip to Florida my Braille Note seemed to work excellently. However,
>while waiting for my return flight in the airport I past the time by
>rreading a magazine I had downloaded from "NLS". Then when the flight's
>pre-boarding was called, I placed my braille note back in my padded
>carry-on luggage case which I was using all weekend. Once the flight
>got underway I pulled my braille note back out of my carry-on to resume
>reading only to find that my braille note seemed to be in some sort of
>frozen state: it wouldn't speak, and no matter what key, or combination
>of keys you press there was absolutely no response from the speech, or
>braille display. The braille display when you turned the braille note
>on would show "resume reading. . . ., but you could not get it to go
>past this, and believe me, I tried everything I possibly could think of
>trying, not even help would work. I even tried plugging the adapter in
>when I got home to see if for some unknown reason the battery had
>completely discharged, but still with it plugged in I had the same
>results: "no response at all to anything". This is a brand new QT
>braille note less than three (3 weeks old. So any help with this would
>be immensely appreciated, while I go through braille note withdraw
>"smile". - Kim
