Hi Sharen.
If you get a flash card, be sure it is a flash card and not something that 
says, for example, "smart media card or something of that nature.
The smart media cards are formatted with certain things already on them which 
makes them not accessible to the bn as a storage card.
I think they are made for network connections or something, I've never used 
them.
As for usb to serial cables, I know they exist, but I've never used them, so 
can't tell you much about them at this point.
I hope you get your bn soon.  What software will you be running?
I am using 4.01 with a classic motherboard, but hope to upgrade both soon.
