Hi Sharon, As for 18 cell compared to 32 cell. The 18 cell, in my humble opinion, doesn't give you enough braille at a time to really read. If you only want braille for very occasional work it might be ok but if you are using this on a job or for real braille reading 18 cells is just insufficient.
