Hi Kaz,

Both the KLT and the CDB files have to be in the KeyList folder on the flash
disk before you can view the records present in the database.

If you have copied these two files to your storage card, be assured that you
will be able to transfer your records to another BrailleNote by putting the
files in the KeyList folder.

If you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Subject: [Braillenote] question on CF

> Hi,
>
> I have just been given a compact flash card for my birthday which I
celebrated on the 31st of last month. I have inserted it into the
appropriate slot and it works fine. Now my question: I have successfully
created a database for my CD collection on my BN's flash disk and would love
to move it onto my compact flash card. I already have ninety records on the
database. The database is called JFC Titles and I have tried copying both
JFC Titles and JFC titlesddcdb files which I found in my Keylist folder on
the flash disk onto the compact flash card. But when I go into the address
list option and select JFC Titles on the CF card, it says there are no
records. The issue is that I still have a whole lot of data to input and
can't bare the thought of having to re-enter the ninety I already have on my
flash disk version of the same database. My friend who helped with
dictating them wouldn't find it funny when she comes in later to continue
with the job that we have to do those ninety records again. I believe there
must be a way to copy these records. I look forward to reading on this
soon. Thanks in anticipation of your help.
