Hi Everyone,

Although Jay's post is correct, I just wanted to paste here a post I sent to
Richard Van Driel about three or four days ago, since I misunderstood his
actual problem. I've just pasted the relevant parts which apply to this
situation, and I've added a little at the end.. It says the same thing Jay
does here, but also mentions the reason that this happens, as I was told by
Pulse Data HumanWare Technical Support when I first had this problem, and
didn't know how to solve it. Anyway, I'm pasting here just in case anyone was
interested.

[Braillenote] Conpact Flash Card For My BN-QT?

Sometimes my BN would say that there was, for example, 1 email in the OutBox,
and it would ask me if I wanted to send it; however, when I looked in the
GhtBox, it would say that there were no messages. What I do is to actually
write an email, but not using the "reply" or "forward" option in the Email
Action Menu. I actually go into Write an Email, write an email (usually to
myself if I don't have an email to write to anyone at the moment, because I
just want the problem fixed, and don't really care if I just get one from
myself, as I can always delete it), and send it. When the BN actually sends an
existing email in the OutBox, that seems to clear it up. What I mean by that
is that it sends out an email I've checked is actually in the OutBox. I
believe the reason for this is if you delete emails directly from the All
folder, as this is a compilation folder, and you should only delete emails from
folders you yourself have created. Also, I find that if I Reply from the All
folder, this also happens. The bottom line is that you should perform such
actions as Reply and Delete only from folders that you've created. This also
applies to Forwarding and Moving, I believe, but not Copying, as this does not
remove the email from the All folder if you were to execute that option from
that folder. Although it's OK to print and emboss from the All folder, any
action involving sending or deleting emails should be done from one of your own
created folders. The bottom line is that it's safer to perform all email
actions from one of your created folders, rather than the All folder.

Thanks, and HTH.

Regards,

Maria
