Hi, Brenda. If I used my braille note to read e-mail exclusively, it would be nothing for me to get 3 to 400 messages per day. That's why I was so concerned. I would mark them all after looking at the subjects then have the bn delete all of the marked messages. It took over two hours.
I still had to delete them from the trash after that.
Moving them directly to the trash with control 8 does take a few seconds per message, but at least it is an acceptable alternative. It does make going through 400 messages a bit slower, though. If control 8 could move the messages to the trash instantaneously, that would be better, but only a faster processor would fix that, probably.

Hi Paul,

I understand your problem, because I'm subscribed to two listserves that are busy. You don't have to mark your messages to delete them first. Let's say you have a hundred messages in your inbox. You can look at the individual headers by using dots five six chord, that's five six pressed down with the space bar. If you find one you don't want to read, why not press that key on the left of your Braille note with dots 2 3 5 6?After you've trashed what you didn't want to read, you could exit and empty the trash folder. After that, free up your data space. That way the system won't be bogged down. Does this help?

It will send that email to your trash.
