Hi Ann, The web address that comes up when you download the book isn't a link. You don't have to click on it, and you can just advance your display until the address ends and the book begins. The link you click on to download the book is a URL address, and the first window or two of the Braille display when the file downloads just lets you know you're at that address (the address you intended to go to, where the book is located). You'll have to always save the file because it'll open on screen. Even on my PC, the file doesn't automatically download, and I've never gotten an Internet Explorer Download Dialog Box when I download a book. Although you can set up on your PC to have the file automatically download, I haven't found this to be a possibility on the BN. If you're downloading something like a Microsoft Word or MP3 file, the BN will recognize that it's a file, and it will prompt you for a download destination, much like the download dialog box on your PC. Although it recognizes BRF files, and will prompt you for a download destination, I'm pretty sure the Web-Braille site takes you to a Web page rather than downloading a file. The reason I'm saying this is because when you find the record for a title you want to download, it will say, for example, "Access: Volume 1. Location:" followed by a URL address. When you're taken to the book, the BN treats this as a regular web page, so I don't think there would be a way to make the book automatically download. Like what you did, I save the files once they come up. As far as your problems with the site go, if you ever get a message that says "Failed to reinitialize" followed by a series of letters and numbers, this is not due to your entering your username and password. It happened to me once, and whch I called my local branch of NLS, they said it was a problem on their end, and that I should try back later; my username and password had gone through fine. When I tried back in a few days, everything went smoothly. HTH. Maria
