Hi, Lisa, What you need to do is go to the ink-print translation settings. Go to the ink-print translation options list. The first question is "What type of boundary is used in the source document?" The source document is referring to the braille document. You can use normal braille rules for paragraphs, that is a new line and two spaces. You should make sure "indented or blank line" is chosen. To get the paragraphs to translate as a new line with indent 5, cycle through the options until you come to "paragraph format". Enter the new line symbol and press the space bar 5 times. If your tabs for print documents are set to 5, you could enter the tab symbol instead of spacing 5 times. (I have a QT keyboard, so I can't give you specific commands here.) Now for the line spacing and page numbers. Go to the "ink-print settings menu". Go to the "layout option. Go to line spacing and change it to double. The next question is "print page numbers" change it to yes. The "page number position" comes next. The default is bottom center. If that doesn't suit you, change the position of the page number to whatever you want. You do this by typing two letters. The first letter will be b for bottom or t for top. The second letter shows the position of the page number--c for center, r for right l for left. Confirm the changes and exit the "ink-print translation settings" menu.
To know how many pages you have done in print, you will need to translate the document into print. Press the query cursor position command when you are at the bottom of the document and you'll know how many print pages you have written so far. When you translate a document, it's best to use the file manager menu instead of the save as command. The save as command doesn't show the correct print margins. I hope this isn't too confusing. I have a paper to write for my Guam history class. I was wondering if this would work. I would like to create the paper in a Keyword file writing it in Grade 2 Braille. For the paragraphs I would space five times before putting in the paragraphs. I would also want the page numbers to appear okay in print. It also has to be doublespaced. I would like to be able to then send an email to my professor inserting the file into the email message or sending it as an attachment. Also is there a way I can check on the BN BT how many pages something is in print so far? Like I'm writing the paper and I want to see how many print pages I have so far? Is there a way to do this for Braille pages too? Thank you for your help and your time. : Lisa : : : ___ : To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to : [EMAIL PROTECTED] : To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit : http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote :
