Hello: Hmmmmm, perhaps I misunderstood my warranty. I have a voice note. When I purchased it in October of 2002, I bought the extended warranty. I understood this to mean that if I needed a battery replacement, all I would have to pay would be the shipping cost to send in my unit. My warranty is for two years.
