Brenda;
The case, when closed, covers the whole machine. The only time the braille
keyboard is not covered is when it is in use. The slotts for cables and
disks on the back are not covered. I bought a DVD case to cary my BT in and
other accessories. You need to take the strap off for it to fit in the
case, but I cary it with the chord.

Note:

Brenda,

You refuse to buy a Braille display because you yourself have not yet
experienced long enough that you yourself, by your own imagination, complain
about silly and small things for no reason that you yourself have not yet
gone through! You yourself are the one who is acting as a hermit! Rather
than complaining just as you did below, quit acting that way but only be
courageous and get a Braille display for yourself and see what we deafblind
and hearing/blind know on our own!

See I am deafblind who has read Braille for 30 straight years with no
problem! Brenda, ask someone to lend you a Braillenote and use it for a
year!

If you never had a Braille display but say things stated below, how could
you rightly claim a Braille display to be problematic?

Smiles,

Todd

Note:

>No, I don't have a braille display. Why bother with all those Braille
display problems? I primarily read emails and books. Why haven't I bought a
Braille Display? First of all they sell it to the customer, and it works for
a while. Then the dots don't come up because of dust or something. At work
we have braille displays, but I've seen this problem. What puzzles me is
why a Braille display doesn't have a case or a cover, when those little
things are so sensative? Why isn't there a way to clean it? One or two dots
should not be a reason to send it back for maintenance. Customers pay a lot
more for braille than just voice. I won't buy your Braille Display until
you resolve these issues. Can I afford one? Probably when I want to.You'll
have to clean up your act before I want to. God help the deaf-blind who are
depending on braille displays.

Note:

>>Jonathan, the book in question, I suspect, is The Collected Short Stories
Of Arthur C. Clarke. Perhaps someone from Pulsedata could get that book
and give Brenda a definitive response.

>>Secondly, Brenda, a braille note has a braille display; a voice note does
not. Both the braille note and the voice note have two types of keyboards,
a qt (qwerty) and bt (braille). Therefore, technically you have a voice
note bt.
