Thank you. I left the BN on charge overnight, exercized the display, and all is now fine, apart from one ing (a dot 9) which does not come up properly. We have cleaned the display with a little isopropyl alcohol and all is well apart from the one pin. Thanks for your help on this. I was convinced it would have to be returned, so am very relieved.
