Well, there wasn't a delete key on the Keynote Companions so I got into the habit of using the QWERTY delete commands which are: Characters--previous control m current control comma next control period; words--previous control j, current control k next control l; sentence--previous control u current control i next control o; paragraphs--previous control 7 current control 8 next control 9. These commands have become second nature to me and I never use the delete key on the BN QT.
Some commands, such as the spell checker, are awkward to use. It would be nice to have a read and a control key on both sides of the keyboard, but the keyboard would have to be changed to add these keys. I can't see giving up any of the present keys. Probably the best solution for some of the commands would be to add options. For example if you're in a Keyword document and you want to access the spel checker, function with o could bring up the options menu and s could bring up the spell checker. Each task, planner, calculator, browser, email, could have its own menu for accessing commands which are hard to do with one hand. Terri, Amateur radio call sign KF6CA.
