Hi Don,

What I do with the straps if I am sitting at my desk, I'll just use the 
shoulder pad and keep that on the back of my neck.  Also by keeping this on my 
neck if I wanted to use the Voice Note in my lap I have the safety of knowing 
the unit won't fall on the floor.  smile
