Dean, perhaps I'm looking at the wrong place, but I cannot find the
Braille display menu you refer to. I'm using a voicenote though, so
perhaps it's not available in my unit; I only wanted to make sure of
the correct dot combination that one should use.

Riana,

the reason for my comments is that the command and the dot combination
displayed is different for those using the UK computer Braille table
instead
of the US one. the computer Braille table setting is found in the
options/Braille display menu.

Hi Dean and List,

You gave the computer Braille commands for the backslash, but you
mentioned that it only applies to US computer Braille. Does that mean
that we might have to use a different key combination if we're not in
the US or is what you provided the default backslash combination command
for navigation with the bn to files as per your example and to create
subdirectories?
Thanks
Riana

Joy,

What that was meant to be is space with s not space with so. Jonathan
was
going to say he doesn't have a so key on his keyboard but I'm not going
to
give him a chance.

When typing the backslash, use space with u, followed by dots 1256 or if
in
eight dot computer Braille, it's dots 12567. These dot combinations
only
apply to the US computer Braille table.

pardon me, but do you mean the chord using the right parenthesis (dots 2
3 4
5 6)? You said you used "Space with", so I'm assuming that's what you
meant.

Mr Mosen,

What I did was I went to the pulsedata.com website, and pressed space
with
so. I then changed the file name to dean.htm and saved it in the
general
folder on the flash disk.

Okay, with that in mind, I returned to the main menu and pressed i.
Yes, I
didn't have to do this but I wanted to make sure I was opening the file
from
the flash disk. Being asked for the address prompt, I typed:

\flash disk\general\dean.htm

Now, I will wait with held breath and open arms for that chocolate fish.
Oh, can I have two please?
