I have sbc here but haven't tried the dialup as yet, I have dsl. One thing to check though is your pop and smtp server names.
Depending on where you are in the network yours may be different, but mine are: pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com and smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com and this is in California. Further, you need to be sure you have authorization set to yes on the braillenote. It's rather difficult to diagnose since neither of you gave detailed descriptions of your problem in connecting using the dialup. I'll try to locate a dialup number here for sbc and see if I can get it to work for me. I've used other dialups before, so hopefully I can get the thing to work. Don
