Hi Keisha, I completely understand. <smile> I have a severe to profound hearing loss in my right ear and I'm profoundly deaf in my left ear. I use a BrailleNote with a Braille display. I can't use speech output because like you said, I miss out on too many consonants and can't get enough amplification.
In regards to your situation...Are you a client of vocational rehab? Perhaps you could trade in your VN for a BN. Lisa
