Hi, I ran a braille display exercise and rubbed the dots with a damp cloth then turned up the unit upside-down and shook it lightly and now it seems to be working ok again. That really gave me a scare. why did it do that? Of course, I had the braillenote turned on all day reading a book. Should I have it sent back and cleaned? My hands are always clean when using it I make sure of that! There for awhile it was making a noise like the dot was trying to come up but could not. Well now I don't hear it anymore and the noise has gone away. My friend shelly said her braille display hasn't gone bad the three years she had it and she didn't send it in or nothing. If it's not too too long I and not too too expensive I think I can part with it for a few weeks. Well I don't hear the noise now as I type this message. No it just happened for a bit while reading. Maybe exercising it making a file with equals signs and exercising it that way, turning it upside-down, and wiping it with a clean damp clot
