I guess I'm fortunate enough to not have that problem, and I am only
addressing the question about the wireless card.  Although I have used the
Sandisk 128 Meg CF plus wireless card to receive e-mail from my ISP SBC. 
But, I have also used my Socket CF dial-up modem and my Nokia 6620 cell 
phone, using the cell phone via Bluetooth for both a GPRS and the slower  
connection.
