Anita,

What are your employment goals?

For starters, you may want to write a letter which indicates how the
purchase of a BrailleNote will help you perform your job.

When I asked VR for a BrailleNote (for use with Braille real-time captioning
in my college classes), I wrote a letter explaining how the BN would also
help me in other areas. (i.e. access to campus computers, the ability to
create/edit writing assignments, send/receive e-mail to communicate with
professors, etc.) I also asked my local dealer if I could try a BrailleNote
for a couple of weeks so that I could document my experiences with the
device and explain how a BN would best fit my needs.

In a sense, you're building a case much like a lawyer does. The more
information you can document, the better.

Good luck!!

Lisa
