I think that the high price comes from one fact:  Adaptive technology CANNOT
BE PURCHASED at any computer retail outlet.  That's what I hope will happen
someday and I won't be at the mercy of a SEGMENTED MARKET OF DISTRIBUTORS!!

When Windows 2K was released, over 1 million copies was sold in one single
day at about $350 initially.  It was available at just about any computer
retail outlet you turn to.  For a while, Talking VCR's were available at
Circuit City and the price was certainly cheaper than it would have been if
I had bought from a SEGMENTED MARKET that's more or less a cartel in part!!
