Hi,

This is a known issue with some Word documents and has been responded to by
Dean earlier on this list. Try converting the document to RTF first and see
if it will load then.

Paul.

Subject: [Braillenote] Word Conversion issue

Just curious... has anyone had a problem with files created in word 2000 or
2003 not being readily accessible by Keysoft 6?
There is a word document that is 56 pages long and it is in word 2003
format. We are wanting to get it on the PK. We saved it on the compact
flash card, but when we tried to open it on the PK, it told us that it was
not a valid word 6 or 97 document. When I hit the backspace to escape from
that error message, it started a conversion process about 30 minutes ago;
it is still going on.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide

Renee
