Hi, This is a known issue with some Word documents and has been responded to by Dean earlier on this list. Try converting the document to RTF first and see if it will load then.

There is a word document that is 56 pages long and it is in word 2003 format. We are wanting to get it on the PK. We saved it on the compact flash card, but when we tried to open it on the PK, it told us that it was not a valid word 6 or 97 document. When I hit the backspace to escape from that error message, it started a conversion process about 30 minutes ago; it is still going on. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide Renee ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
