I have the ethernet card, but am looking forward to going wireless. No
cable to get out and hookup to be made; no being tied to your router with a
short cable.

Thanks. So I'm wondering what the general consensus is. Is it worth
buying an ethernet card if you'll be going wireless? Are there times when
one would want to be hooked up and not be wireless?

If you want to use DSL now, you'd need to buy the ethernet card, which
would cost approximately $159 from Pulsedata, and I guess you can buy it
somewhere else for around $100. You should have gotten a modem, and if
you're going to use it with your computer, you'll need a router. If
you're planning to go wireless, make sure it's a router that can go either way.
