Rhonda: The batteries in the BN are Nickel Metal Hydryte, NIMH. Battery manufacturers say that these type batteries have no memory, unlike Nickel Cadnium ones had. They are definitely much improved in this regard, but they still may be able to develop memory, over an extended time frame.
So, what I would recommend is that occasionally, every 15 or 20 charges, completely draining & recharging is good. In this case, recalibration can be accomplished at the same time. This information is based on my experience with other devices, in another field completely separate from the BN, which uses rechargable batteries. This theory is time tested, something which battery manufacturers don't always have the luxury of.
