Hello, Olus,
We are all vitally interested in hearing how the replacement goes. But, I have kind of a feeling that just battery replacement may not be all that is happening when you send your BN off to PDI. That would certainly be a good opportunity to give the gadget a general check-over to try to find things that were wrong or about to go wrong, then correcting them.

Hello Kim:

Sorry--that's a NO-GO area! If you CHANGE YOUR OWN BATTERIES, they'll lose business and money! So, off across a world away the BrailleNote MUST GO to have its batteries replaced when you need to.

Since my WARRANTY IS UP anyway, I'm going to visit my wonderful BATTERY EXPERTS at Batteries Plus and see what they can RICOCHET together for me. They did for the Braille Lite; I'm sure they'll try their best possible--and if they can't--then, off to the Pacific desert it shall go and I know I will pay a hefty fee, <phew>!!

Sincerely,
Olusegun
