Hi Jim, I have not received any messages from you which were sent directly to me. If you tried to attach the files when mailing to the list, they are stripped by the listserv software and never got here.
However, I did send a message to myself from the bn using 6.11 and attached a word document. I received the file on the pc and was able to open the file in ms word 2002 with no problem at all. Since I no longer have a machine here running ks 5.1 I can't try receiving it on that machine. The file I sent to myself was a word file located on the C drive of my pc, so I used the network drive in 6.11 to obtain the file. The file I used for this was a word file but it did not have any complex characteristics such as unusual fonts, bullets or other such that I am aware of.
