If I need to back up the entries of the Planner or Address List as a text file,
I use the "Print to File" option. With KeyList, yes, you do need to create a
template to house all the fields, but you can have all the records copied to
the "Print to File.txt" (without the quotes) file in the root directory of the
KeySoft System Disk (and with the Planner, you specify the dates you want
"printed", so they get put into the "Print to File" file). Because the
contents of "Print to File.txt" are overwritten every time you use it, I save
the entries of KeyPlan/KeyList that I have backed up to another text file. The
"Print to File" option is used by selecting the "File" port of the "Printer
port?" setting in the Printer Set-Up List.
