Hi Terry, I know, the bn is a wonderful machine, and it looks like Pdi is coming out with more surprises! I was in a Pacmate class for about a month, and during that time, I went totally Pacmate for the duration. Let me tell you that when I finished the class and went back to using the bn, it was like coming home. Easier web access, easier email, and the reset process if much more flexible. Yes, Pacmate is an open platform, but it takes longer, in my oppinion to access different things in it. Now that Pdi is giving us the upgrade and talking about an sdk, I think we will see even more versitility coming from our braillenotes. I hope I didn't break any rules on this list by writing this, but I am excited about the things I'm hearing from Pdi.
happy braillenoting and keep up the cool stuff Pdi A very excited Richard >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Terri Pannett" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected] >Date: Fri, 1 Oct 2004 13:56:51 -0700 >Subject: Re: [Braillenote] braillenote pk >Dear Susie, >I use my BN at rehearsals and then emboss the music and use a music stand >during the church service. >But if my embosser broke down, I would have to use my BN one way or another. >The BN PK cannot emboss and that was my original point.
