You know what I think? Something must vary.  I've had my BN for a little over a 
year.  I've never taken my compact flash out, except when I change to a new 
one.  I didn't even realize it was necessary until I got on this list.  It just 
makes me wonder if it's in the manufacturing some way.  Regards, Rhonda Clark
